While operating at Ron’s Performance Center, we officially launched as MOONEYES HAWAII, bringing the legendary MOONEYES brand directly to the islands. During this time, we introduced our classic HONOLULU HAWAII shirts in black, featuring the iconic MOON round logo — a favorite among hot rod fans, custom car collectors, and MOONEYES enthusiasts across Hawaii and beyond.
Our History
Since 2007, we’ve been an authorized MOONEYES dealer under the brand Pacific Rod and Street, serving hot rod and custom car enthusiasts worldwide. Beginning primarily as an online store, we proudly offered the full range of MOONEYES products, from apparel and accessories to custom car gear, and expanded retail sales through Ron’s Performance Center. Whether you shop online or in person, we’re your destination for authentic Hawaii hot rod culture and MOONEYES merchandise.
Original Liliha Store
In 2017, we expanded from online sales to a small brick-and-mortar shop in Liliha, open weekends while still working our full-time jobs. Though only about half the size of a garage, the original Liliha store quickly became a hub for Hawaii hot rod culture, giving the shop its unique character, charm, and island-style vibe.
Kaimuki Town
After three years in Liliha, we moved to our current Kaimuki location in 2021, more than doubling our shop space and installing the classic checkered tile floors that capture the true hot rod custom vibe. Visit us in person to explore our full range of MOONEYES products, including aluminum specialty fuel tanks, MOON discs wheel covers, and high-performance speed parts.
