2026 MOONEYES HAWAII Japan Tour

featuring the MOONEYES Street Car Nationals

Our 2022 Tour featured the MOONEYES Hot Rod Custom Show in Yokohama city.  We arrived in Nagoya, visited Kyoto and the Hakone area and made our way down to Yokohama...the stops along the way were fun!                                   (MOON Of Japan Photo)

Arts Body was the first shop we visited.  Their attention to detail is spectacular.  The shop is full of metal fab equipment and the rides that roll out from this shop always turns heads.

Jun's Galaxian, a '27 Model T,  greeted us as we entered the legendary Paradise Road shop.  We were able to see the Ultimatum there which Jun entered into the Hot Rod Custom Show - the Ultimatum took Best of Show honors.

Borders Kustom displayed their fabulous rides, metal-work demonstration and took our tour group for a memorable ride in their kustom builds.  The shop visit was very interactive and provided many photo opportunities for our tour group.

We visited the FLAT4 shop on our first tour in 2019 in Tokyo.  They moved to Yokohama last year so we  were excited to see their new facility.  VW garage on the ground floor with their retail floor above.  Quality parts, accessories and apparel at their store in Honnoku, Yokohama. 

We rode the Shinkansen (Bullet Train), day tours in Kyoto (traditional sights), scenic sights in Hakone and had interactive classes in woodwork (we made a coaster) and cooking(!).  The idea of the itinerary is to balance the traditional culture sights with the kustom kulture shops and show!
